To be clear you are saying that Marciano hit harder than Lewis and Wlad? Lewis would have fits with a 5'10 185lbs guy trading with him? But he wasn't bothered by bigger stronger men doing it?
Marciano manouvering around dynamically.Lewis would be in danger against Marciano, in danger of being charged with manslaughter!
Given that he was stopped by tall Fred Fulton after being jabbed half to death.
How many heavyweights in that list do you think Langford beats?

He losses to all of them apart from Patterson. Wladimir, Tyson, Lewis and Fury stop him in the first round.

So despite the two weighing exactly the same in championship fights you're ok with allowing Holyfield the chance to put on 20 pound of muscle but not affording Rocky the same opportunity?

You can see the impact on ham and eggers and older past prime men who were generally under 200lbs.

I 'm very okay with the prime version of Marciano ,[or any other heavyweight champion], being put into head to head matchups as they actually were in their prime.I sincerely feel that anyone who is not would be better employed creating their own threads where they can tailor and create fighters to match up and hence satisfy their own agenda.

Why would one want to move said goalposts?

That's a question you need to ask yourself because it's a compulsive habit with you.

I ask myself why would I allow one fighter to gain weight and not another and I can think of no objective reason for doing so.

It just seems ridiculous to me.

Rocky and Holy have both weighed in at 190 pounds on the night of a fight. If one is allowed to gain weight, in the interest of fairness the other should be allowed to gain weight.

Rocky isn't good enough to give away 20 pounds to Holy. He's good enough to beat him on an even playing field though.

If it seems "ridiculous to you",why post on the thread?

In contests involving versions of the heavyweight ttile ,[and the OP specifically asked for the heavyweight champion version of Holyfield,] Holyfield's weight was as follows:
    214.25lbs
    211,5lbs
    216lbs
    219lbs
    217lbs
    221lbs
    217lbs
    215lbs
    217lbs
    214lbs
    218lbs
    215lbs
    214lbs
    217lbs
    205lbs
    210lbs
    210lbs
    208lbs
    208lbs
So it can clearly be seen that at no time either as defending champion or challenger did Holyfield weigh 190lbs in fact his average weight in those 19 contests was'
214lbs. 24lbs heavier than the 190lbs you are attempting to foist on us as Holyfield' s heavyweight championship weight
What's ridiculous is you incessantly and compulsively, trying to alter the stated criteria in head to head matchups.
