Seven or eight rounds, and Galento might drop Rocky along the way.

    It last 3-5 rounds!
Galento would call Rocky many names but Rocky wouls be calm until fight started! When fight started well Galento would be knocked out inside of 5!

3-5 sounds about right. Galento won’t have the stamina or skill set to keep up w Marciano long.

3-5 rounds seems like a good call.

What if Two Ton lands on Rocky the way Moore and Jersey did? Was Cockell better than him?

I still hold that Two Ton was as good as David Tua.

Be a right good old ding dong, go get em, type fight. Jack would love it in there, maybe Tony would.. For a round or so. As mcvey said, probably a Kd or even two, from Tony over Jack. That would probably be Dempsey being over eager to rip his head off!
By the fifth, Tony's face would have gone thru the meat grinder and his non existent defense would see Jack hammering his head.
Tony would sink to the floor, all the fight knocked out of him including the stuffing.

I didn’t realize there was already a thread featuring this exact match today !! Sorry I’ll delete my duplicate. I think this could have been a terrific match between two brawlers who were both tough as nails and could both hit hard. We’d be looking at a close range bout with practically every punch being a bomb. In the end Rocky wins by knockout or stoppage. But he would certainly take his lumps.

I think Rocky would have to deal with Galento longer than 3 or 4 rounds. It would be more of an attrition type of stoppage. Marciano wasn't Joe Louis. He didn't throw pinpoint lasers. Rocky would have to grind this guy down.

Well Galento was pretty tough. He went face to face with Baer, who, despite my criticisms of him, could really hit. And Galento gave Baer all he could handle for a while. However, things like conditioning and stamina are real. Marciano will break him down over the fight for a mid to late rounds stoppage.
