    Marciano was for real.

    I watched Marciano-Walcott again yesterday actually, and those guys were warriors. They were in great shape and hitting each other some vicious full-blooded shots. 6 ounce gloves too.
    They made good money but not the sort of money the fighters get these days.
    Only a moron would disrepect them.

    Maybe we all can be as great as Rocky Marciano. All we have to do is to walk into some Retirement Homes, or Assisted Living Communities and pick fights with some 78 year olds. BAM, there goes Joe Louis! WHACK, down Ezzard Charles!:lol:

    Possibly because those who APPRECIATE Marciano dont hold the stupid opinion you ascribe in the poll. Whereas there are clearly a few haters who are also certified morons.

    I am not Italian. Marciano's underrated, ask Ali. If he was too small, so were Tyson, Quarry, and frazier. Why Quarry? He's a poor man's Marciano and KTFO Ernie "belcher" Shavers. Stupid post, especially considering he's barely, if at all mentioned, as the GOAT.

    His resume is somewhat weak, but was such a strong and powerful fighter, with a subtle working defence.

    Small no doubt. Tough ask for him to take on 250lb guys.
