Rocky Marciano. Was he overrated, or as great as his fanboys make him out to be?

    Foreman? Liston? Norton? Frazier? Wow. Lewis, lets see. I'd say Rahman was primed, but Holy was past it as was Tyson, but Tua and Golota were primed as well....Grant and Briggs too as well as Vitali. Any of those men assrapes any version of Maricano inside 3.

    Foreman- 45 years old and in the advanced stages of senility, unable to even comprehend where he was at the time

    Liston- 53 years old and took two dives under order of the mob

    Norton- 17 years old and obviously pre-prime, was nervous about an Algebra test he had to take later on that day in the 11th grade

    Frazier- 88 years old, had just died, was thrown into the ring out of his coffin for all 3 fights, and Ali won by virtue of kicking him out of the ring each time, there is video evidence

    For Lewis:

    Rahman- 4 years old, was in pre-school at the time, not even a professional boxer, and Lewis interrupted class by beating up a child

    Holyfield- A 59 year old Featherweight, had no business fighting in the first place

    etc, etc.

    Marciano can and did beat every other opponent on both Lewis and Ali's records, video proof exists. Therefore, based on the above facts, we can conclude that Marciano was indeed the greatest.

    Rocky at one point was over rated, but as with all fighters times seems to put then in their right place...Rocky is a top 15 atg as a heavyweight, his weak resume which to be honest is alot like Joe Calzaghe's, is what holds him back. Unlike Joe its not Rocky's fault, you can make elite fighter fight you when there arent any...

    Ok, lets go over a few things.

    1. Any version of Foreman makes Maricano a little jailhouse punk. The version that beat Frazier would have knocked down Rocky with his stare alone.

    2. Sonny Liston. See 1. Liston's dick was bigger than Rocky Marciano wearing heels.

    3. Ken Norton was about 1 million times stronger, not to mention bigger than the Crock, er, the Rock.

    4. Any version of Frazier beats the **** out of Marciano. Knowing Marciano, he would choose the 2008 version of Frazier, over the 1970 Version.


    For Lewis.

    Hasim Rahman's breath in the morning would knock out Marciano.

    Holyfield. At 49, Holyfield is fighting Andre the Giant for the WBA Belt. Nicolai Valuev would take Rocky Marciano under his arm, like a screaming 2 year old, into the men's room, step on him, while he took a long ****, and read the Las Vegas Review, in Russian, and then use Marciano as toilet paper.

    Ect.

    Marciano did beat Ali on that fake ass tape however!:yep

    It's amazing to me that 7 braindead ******s think Marciano would have lasted against a prime Lewis. It would have been the final round of Tyson-Lewis, but in the first minute of the fight.
