    In some cases, yes.

I am confident that David Haye hits harder than Nicolai Valuev for example.

all i knw i saw an interview with Ali. taken n the early 70's and he said thought marciano was the only other heavyweight that couldve give him a real test. this interview was when Ali was still undefeated. matter of fact i think that iwhat spawned their computer fight which rocky beating him by 13th rd ko. and ali is the face of black boxing. dont think he would say that to put on for the cameras. would the rock had trouble with the likes of foreman and lewis sure! but if your talkin strictly power. just use the eye ball test and watch. punchers are born they just have it, rocky had it no doubt

Lennox had speed and just about everything else on his side?

Punching requires a lot of things but you either have it or you dont. As Janitor pointed out Haye hits harder then Valuev.

No, not all of them. What was said is they carried the power to knock out a man of any size..

Those are exactly the kind of big heavyweights, where you would be justified in favouring a great smaller heavyweight (with the exception of Holyfield).

The bigger they are the harder they hit? So you're applying that to every big heavyweight(Must be you never gave exceptions) But thats not the case I can give countless examples. If that was the case then Butterbean, the guy who couldn't KO 100year old Larry Holmes, must be the hardest hitter ever.

No it can't! You and I have already established your statistics mean nothing.

Biggest trouble those guys got into was vs a small man. Lennox Lewis ducked Byrd for precisely what you're trying to counter.

you knock on him for ko'ing guys smaller than todays heavies or even the ones int he 70's....well how big was rock?! he was extremely small so for his size, his punching power was pretty damned good. were talking about a guy who was a cruiserweight today or could even probably drain down to light heavy

All that protective fat on Butterbean and weight make him hardest hitter ever

Monte Fisto was Jersey Joe Walcott a modern sized heavyweight moron? Did you even read what I said when I started this thread? I said knocking out light heavyweights and cruiser weights does not equate to knocking out modern sized heavyweights.

Second Jersey Joe Was knocked out various times before Marciano got to him and they stopped him quicker.

And that video shows what? Did you see Pernell Whitaker knock out Diosbelys Hurtado? Brutal right? So based on your logic because of that fight Whitaker was a harder puncher than guys like Julian Jackson

And Monte Fisto ****** if you also read what i typed when I started this thread I said name on guy who was as big and strong as Foreman, McCall, ect ect ect who he stopped. If you can't name that then why keep comparing him to true heavyweights? That is the point you dumb ass. Just say you believe he was a hard puncher for his weight class but don't try to compare his power to guys like Lewis, Tyson, Foreman, Tua, Ibeabuchi etc etc ect
