How does Marciano do against the more refined, even bigger of the two Baer's?

    Does he have any chance?

This one sided beating goes like Marciano vs 6'5 Skhor...Baer takes a bad body beating along the way.

I like Marciano by stoppage ,but unlike Suzie ,I think to 9 or 10 rds it goes ,Buddy was pretty durable.

He sure was not durable against Joe Louis, who blow him out inside of 1 round.

Apart from Louis and Gunner Barlund who tkod Baer in 7 rds Buddy wasnt stopped in 60 fights ,so 3 losses, one of them a tko ,one a dsq ,when his corner refused to let him come out for the next round ,after Louis hit him after the bell, and a ko to possibly the hardest punching heavyweight of all time,I call that pretty durable ,and I rest my case.

True, but they fought once before that and Buddy went to the end of round 6 with Joe. Kept getting back up and coming no matter how many times he was knocked down or how badly he got beat, right up until that shot at the bell in the 6th.

Really though, this is a mismatch. Marciano by KO in a no doubter.

Marciano vs. Buddy Baer - Marciano by KO, though Baer was pretty tough himself, a hard hitter like his brother.

Marciano by ko, probably about round 5 or 6. I think Baer would take a horrendous body beating early.

Rocky by decision or late stopage ... Baer was very tough and had a hell of a right himself ... the Louis rematch was simply a perfect fighting machine at work .. one of Joe's most perfect performance ...

Don't most give Baer a fighting chance against Marcinao due to his power and chin?

    What's the difference here?

You mean Max? Well, Max had far more proven power and chin than his brother, who had a fluffier record but a lot less credentials. Marciano is a sound favorite to beat either of them.

    More proven chin?

Did you see the abuse Buddy took from Louis in their first fight? Every bit as bad as the Max Baer/Louis match.

I don't know how long Max would of lasted in a rematch with Joe as well.
