    Interesting post. It’s a shame his “exhibitions” didn’t count as real fights, because they were certainly fought with the intensity of a real fight. Louis knocked out ray in 49, knocked out Valentino in 50, and knocked out valdes in 50...Knockout victories over ray valdes and Valentino make a comeback louis’ record appear a lot more explosive

    Absolutely. 79 unlicensed fights between Walcott and Charles, many of them real fights with good opponents.
