This content is protected After watching this fight in color, I'm a believer that prime Louis would clearly beat Rocky. Marciano wasn't at his best yet, but he didn't show me anything that would suggest he could beat prime Louis.
Louis lost his right hand timing in his later years. He would look and look to throw it but seemed not to be able to find an opening. Far cry from the fighter who had the best right hand in hwt history in his prime.
I felt Rocky`s punching was short and crisp his hooks were as short as Joe`s once in close, he knew what he was doing and he was a great pundit too.
Don't get me wrong, it's still good win and Rocky definitely new what to do. My point is that wouldn't work against prime Louis. Watch him against Godoy, he tried similar tactics and Louis dominated him.
