Briggs is 6'3 240 plus pounds...what would Rocky possibly do to him at 5'10 180 nothing pounds when he doesn't even have speed on his side...nonsense to think he gets by Briggs.Do you guys not actually see him struggling in his own era compared to a super Hw with speed and power as well ,double standard at its finest, not only is Briggs massively bigger hes faster, everyone on that list minus 2 are faster than Rocky.
I reckon the Rock fairs up well in most of these fights. Only a few fighters he's pretty much incapable of out-hustling: Vitali, Lewis, Foreman. He might survive long enough against others to make them gas a bit, then has a punchers chance.
what if rocky eats a steak dinner before the fight? this should cause him to gain around 10 pounds, thereby multiplying his punching power by at least 10%, if not more. Carnera, Willard, Douglas and Briggs he all beats. He very likely beats Rahman, but an upset isn't impossible. Foreman and Lewis easily beat him. Bowe should beat him, but he would only win decisively if he was at his absolute best, anything less than that, and an upset could happen. Vitali beats him with trouble, Wlad probably beats him, but Rocky could easily pull a Brewster or Sanders.
None of these men at their best loses to a slow, short-limbed 185-lb man with poor balance: Foreman Buster Douglas Bowe Lewis Rahman Vitali Wlad
More interesting question is which one would batter him the worst/finish him the quickest. I'm leaning toward Bowe.
he wasn't fast at 185 hes not going to fast at 200!Douglas would box him out easily,he would cut him up with that great 84 inch jab!Vitali beats him with trouble? What is going to be troubling with a guy who just stands there for him..Wlad the same.Again Rocky did not hit like superman and he had a 68 inch reach ,hes not going to land anything.
Wlad would hurt him badly,he would pull a Shufford or Mercer on him,it doesn't get out of round 2 if it makes it there. With 5 ounce/6 ounce gloves it doesn't make it out of round one.Foreman would bludgeon him to the floor within 3 rounds.Rocky simply didn't have enough movement or speed.
what if he has potatoes on the side with the steak? That'll add at least another 5 or 6 pounds, and will counterbalance the heavyness of the meat to make him faster.
nutnut Oh the irony from the resident fool who believes the carthorse Klitchko is quick. I'd say there is a good chance Klitchko would manage to make even Marciano look quick. I'd say Klitchko wins on sheer size and power, but it won't be by movement or speed.
klitchko was quick Marciano wasn't!Marciano even with smaller gloves couldn't and didn't punch faster than either klitchko.Beer goggles is your problem!:yep
Your are completely ignorant if you don't acknowledge what every contemporary trainer acknowledges, that Wlad has (had) very quick hands. You are merely swimming against a much more abundant, much more learned river.
Perhaps (as he's the most hittable) but I also think that he has the inside game to beat Marciano up even if he gets in close.
