1. Apollo Creed 2. James 'Clubber' Lang 3. Ivan Drago 4. Vito Soto 5. Matt Delarue 6. Bobby Jalali 7. Joe Green 8. Flip Folsom 9. Joe Czak 10. Phillip Hammerman Considered putting Lang at #1.
Considering Rocky's age and the toll the wars took on him with Creed, I could certainly see the case being made for Lang as his biggest challenge. Wait, are we counting the street fight with Tommy Gunn? Could we? he grant, can we count that one?
I don't mean to take anything away from Rocky's victory, but i'm still of the belief that he was very lucky with the lax refereeing of the Drago fight. That fight should have been stopped many times in Ivan's favour as he dealt out horrific brain-damaging beatings on Balboa and thus an argument for Drago's invincibility can still be made. Well, you know, the times were different then and the country is a little more Smoger than Nady. But I know what you're saying, man.

H2H Top 10 Ranking of Rocky's opponents: 1. Ivan "The Siberian Express" Drago 2. Apollo "The Master of Disaster" Creed 3. James "Clubber" Lang (Tommy Gun would be #4 if it was a sanctioned boxing match & not a street brawl) 4. Mason "The Line" Dixon 5. Vito Soto 6. Big Yank Ball 7. Matt Delarue 8. Philip Hammerman 9. Bobby Jalali 10. Joe Green
Completely forgot Mason Dixon. Neither Gunn or Thunderlips count, surely? Gunn was a bum anyway, he isn't even top 5. @he_grant - Sorry for ruining your thread. I will get it back on track latter.
Spider Rico was a tomato can in a local club. He wasn't a contender for the world title like Big Yank Ball and Joe Czak were!
This is classic. The troll who started this thread had an agenda, despite him trying to cover it up. Fortunately, everyone saw right through it and brought us comic relief.
