    Kid has to know he didn't "best" a former big name in the sport, though, even though he must be elated to now have those bragging rights & the story for his future grandkids. Cobrita was the one that spent most of the previous several rounds looking in danger of being KTFO. He did indeed turn the tables, briefly, but that one knockdown was a drop in the bucket compared with the hammering Mayorga had been laying on him. You don't celebrate a stoppage like that like you climbed Mount Everest, if you have a lick of self-awareness, is all I'm saying.

    I watched this and was fairly sad because Mayorga is legitimately one of my favorite sports characters ever. His story is one of the best sports’ stories ever told. I don’t doubt that he was paid to take a dive, I don’t think he gives a **** about anything but money as he’s probably unfortunately burnt through all the money he earned during his career


    Something about his trainer shitting on him on social media doesn’t sit right with me. You’re a grown ass man. Stop acting like a teenage girl chasing clout

    The whole thing is very cringe. Like no part of me doubts that all the stuff he said Ricardo did is true...but also, yeah, STFU duds and settle this between yourselves behind closed doors like men. Idk. :nusenuse:

    Yeah I mean I don’t doubt that at least part of it is true. But releasing this footage like that is just weak IMO. Either go about the legal way of getting your money, or STFU and accept that you got hustled. Social media has turned a lot of grown men into teenage drama queens these days
