    81 wins, 71 knockouts. Active in the 60's and 70's, and like many lower weight Mexican fighters he was a serious banger.

    Ended his career with two losses to Guts Ishimatsu. Put Cervantes on the mat before being stopped with a cut eye as well.

    So, anyone?

    Excellent fighter, similar to Napoles stylistically, one of the best and most underrated of the era. Mantequilla already started a thread on him here:

    Such a shame it took Gonzalez so long to get anywhere.

    If he had been better connected, or just got a better break in general a fight with Ortiz would have been awesome.

    There was also a Rudolfo"Gato" Gonzalez who fought in the Eighties. Pretty decent fighter Himself. 140 Lbs.
