Washington, who has fought such big names as Andre Berto, Vanes Martirosyan and Alfred Angulo, was available to be hit but Garcia never fully committed to going for the knockout. Garcia, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Oscar De La Hoya, improves to 7-0 (5KO) while Washington drops to 14-13 (7KO).
i was there hes quite impressive this was the first time ive seen him. Is there a story behind garcia or is he another hyped up LA area kid?
All im gonna say is hes the next best and he will outbox canelo right now. He came outta jerome park and tko boxing in santa ana when he was young and was at westminster for awhile before it closed. I dont really understand the de la hoya comparisons.....hes alot more relaxed and fluid whereas dlh was real robot like in his movements.
