Anybody seen it? How does one get a hold of this one? I've looked at every Valdez and Briscoe DVD that exists, never seen it on there.
I read about it in the newspaper the next day, from what I read it was a great fight to see. Rodrigo Valdes earned the right to challenge World Middleweight Champion Carlos Monzon with that victory. Beating Bennie Briscoe at that time was no easy task. Again, those two would meet for the vacant WBC World Middleweight Title on May 25 1974, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The difference this time that the fight judges were not needed as Valdes kayoed Briscoe with one rocket of a right hand in round 7, to claim the belt.
