Who is victorious in what would be an obvious war at 160?

I'm a big Benn fan but don't see him beating Valdez. Rodrigo via KO in 6 just had too much.

...........Agreed; nothing against Benn, he was a fine fighter, but Valdez had a little more of everything, and a bit more resilience and toughness.

As much as I admire Nigel Benn, and that, by the way, is a lot, Rodrigo Valdez was a whole level above him in skills. A midrounds stoppage would have resulted, with no disgrace to Mr. Benn. Valdez was second to the great Monzon, IMO, and wouldn't have been denied.

Benn was far to one dimensional to win this one at 160... But 168 he would of had a chance, Benn grew up mentally and physically post EubankI IMO.

I love 'Nige, but he's out of his depth in this one in terms of the class of opponent he's facing. Valdez TKO7.

Rodrigo was just too good overall to lose to Nigel Benn. Maybe, Benn would have a puncher's chance, eh?
