With a FOTY candidate rematch coming up I decided to score this ultra close fight in anticipation for the rematch. Post your own Round 1- 10-9 Wolak though Rodriguez lands some good blows he is losing the inside battle and the physical wrestling on the inside. Rodriguez better suited in no mans land. 10-9 Wolak Round 2- Rodriguez gets more space and lands the harder cleaner shots. He is still out worked and backing up but he has the better shots and more space this time. 10-9 Rodriguez Round 3- Very even round. Moments of space favored Rodriguez and then Wolak would get back on him. Rodriguez spun him and landed a nice series and had a good 3 shots combo as well. Wolak lands better shots than i remembered. 10-10 even Atlas same card except 3rd to D.R Round 4- Close ****ing round. Both men landed some clean hard shots. Hard differentiate between the two men. 10-9 Wolak Atlas agreed Round 5- ****ing close round **** I almost dont want to score it. Well Id have to give it to Wolak based on pressure. Rodriguez didnt get space landed some big shots but was mostly smothered. 10-9 Wolak Atlas Even Mid point- 3-1-1 in favor of Wolak. This fight its a judging nightmare and could easily be almost any combination of round scoring. 1 and 2 I think are he only obvious rounds. 3-5 are so damn close. Round 6- Wolaks best round of the night he has Rodriguez on the ropes like the whole round. He also lands clean to the head and body. 10-9 Wolak Atlas Agreed Round 7- Rodriguez finally getting space and has his best round. 10-9 Rodriguez Atlas Agreed Round 8- the eye is clearly a turning point as the fight has changed ever since. Rodriguez punches are having more effect he is getting more space. No idea how the swelling started if punch or butt but its the right eye but most of the good shots have been rights. 10-9 Rodriguez Atlas Disagreed Round-9 Rodriguez on a roll ties it up on my card at 4-4-1 going into the 10th and final round. Big round with it all on the line. Atlas Agrees Round 10- Rodriguez guts it 10-9 Rodriguez Atlas Agrees Final- 5-4-1 in favor of Rodriguez Atlas had him up by a point as well just got there in slightly different ways
