He did seem to take a standing knee to the face from Mir but the angle wasn't great. I'm curious if that connected. He might have actually been stunned because in the same motion he took Mir down. Any thoughts?
in what way? Fedor aint a Mir or a Herring who just turtle up idiotically and takes punches on the ground, Fedor would constantly scarmble and use his subs and sweeps and if goes to the feet everybody knows Lesnar standup was horrible as showed in his last fight with Mir, Lesnar's gonna get Zulu'd by Fedor
I still see him as a guy that hasn't had any sort of real test yet. IMO he's doing ok in a poor HW division. If you want to see an example of a great champion. You only have to look at GSP. A true great.
When the knee landed I thought the may have been slightly stunned from it & maybe also a punch. In his interview on the ufc website he actually said he saw a tweety bird for half a second from the knee. He sure recovered quickly.
He has no class and is a terrible ambassador for the sport. But you cannot argue that he produced a dominant display against Mir.
brock appeared to have re-adopted his wwe badguy persona after the fight. although i didn't see the build up so maybe he was like that before
Exactly. Ive never watched wrestling so i was new to Brock Lesnar and he won me over after the Herrign fight, and after he shut Mir up, who ive always thought was overated he has rocketed into my top 3 mma fighters. People dont like Lesnar because he says it like it is.
The guy in my avatar doesn't stick his fingers up to the crowd and scream abuse at a badly hurt opponent.
Seems more likely to me that he WAS on roids which helped him to get SUPER SUPER huge (although, if you watch any NCAA footage of him, he was already enormous) and now he is off. You can tell that he is a lot flabbier than he used to be. He doesn't have the super steroid definition anymore, he is just huge.
