Rigo's (in all likelihood) going to make more than Loma for this fight.

What TR pays is only one chunk of the revenue coming in. Rigo's contract from Roc pays him, on average, another ~$1.4 million per fight.

...And Teon Kennedy, and Roberto Marroquin, and the first round KO's of Casey and Yotjan.

Even the Cordoba fight was kind of intriguing, given that the exchanged kd's and the shift in momentum.

He's actually only been in two out-and-out stinkers (Francisco and Agbeko). Both of those were the result of the opponents not being willing to open up for fear of getting countered.

Against a willing opponent, Rigo can provide highlights, and yes, even some excitement.

Lomachenko alluded to that himself in an interview from earlier in the year.

Boxing is more than just entertainment. It takes sacrifice and dedication to get to the skill level of a Rigonduex and when those skills are put on display then he needs to be compensated accordingly. All the fight needs is the right hype. Loma ain't raising no hell in the entertainment department, he needs a Rigondeux to get the kind of money he wants so Rigonduex should get a fair share. His status goes way up if he beats him.

Rigoblin does not have millions of mma ppv fans and he's not fighting Mayweather

Lomo is offering a career pay for him.

Stop making excuses and take it

You're welcome. The ~$1.4 is if you average it out over the course of it ($10 mil divided by 7 fights over a 4 year period), so take it for what it's worth - I don't have access to an official copy, that's just what I've dug up. Chances are some of that was paid up front as a signing bonus and some will remain on the back end to be paid out once he hits the target # of fights. Given the way Roc operates, I'd speculate more was paid up front since they had to offer generous terms to build a stable.

Put Rigo on a PPV and see howmany he sells.
    Think before you post.
Fighters deserve to get paid what they bring to the table. (Yes, Rigo brings more than just 500k if the opponent is right.)
