came across okay in the interview. Fair play to the lad really. He's only young I suppose and he seems to have accepted some of the criticism of his big mouth.

He did as well as he could have done, but the opponent was a joke.

As an Olympic champion, I'd guess you would get people off your back by proving yourself.... DLH fought decent guys straight away and became a superstar. You can't just feast on puddings and start chelping. Fans aren't stupid!

 

Good performance by Degale as much as you could tell in that time in his 2nd pro fight. Was buzzing in interview after with nervous energy but just about managed to not talk total shite.

 

The rest got booed cos there is idiots in the crowd, I'm not defending them for booing Saunders, but i'm not gonna slate them for booing **** face Degale.

Didn't see Saunders...

Gavin has got a lot of learning to do. Was wide open for a left hook most of the night. Looked OK but it may take a knockdown for him to start learning properly.

DeGale looked good to me. OK, the guy he was facing wasn't up to much but DeGale didn't look like he was going to get caught, kept his gloves up and certainly opened up at exactly the right times. Quite impressive. Apart from the interview!
