its the worst idea ever! im a belfast lad and a big rogan fan but if, as has been rumoured, hes training at a small am gym and apparently training himself he will lose to sam sexton

Hmm. Certainly would be odd to blame Breen for the loss, it was Rogan's fault plain and simple there. So why ditch him?

It sounds like Rogan hasn't been training with Breen during all the build-up, so it's not a sudden switch, but still seems one that's unnecessary at best...damaging at worst.

But I've been backing Sexton to win so fine by me ;)

I am now definitely backing Sexton with Paddy Power as Rogan is 1/4 to win, a bit of a tip there lads.

Well as long as he goes with a trainer that will get him moving his head more then I think it's a good idea.... should of done it sooner though, it may be a bit late for any major changes to take place so close to the fight.

I am saddened to hear that. I hope Rogie has got his head right and is putting in the work for the Sexton re-match. Breen is a top trainer and a gentleman, I don't understand this at all.

I agree. But that must spell bad news so close to a fight of this scale

True, but most of the time a fighter don't get the best brought of them without a good trainer.

I can't help but think this is a bad idea, especially with an important fight coming up.

i don't think Rogie listened to his corner enough during the last fight. I remember the corner screaming and shouting at him during the break in the 8th. Rogie was stood in the corner with his two arms resting on the ropes and Breen was shaking the ropes like a madman trying to get his attention, Rogan didn't even glance at him. You can't do that. I said a good few months ago, that if Rogan is to beat Sexton in the re-match he must listen to his corner...

The other thing that I recall Rogie say before the first Sexton fight was that he didnt watch any of Sexton's tapes etc, he learns all of that to his trainer, who he relies on to prepare him.....So, I fear he is going to throw away a brilliant opportunity that he has worked so hard to get into in the first place.....damn shame.
