You can't just walk through Klitschko's jab, no matter how much heart you have. Wlad uses his left hand very effectively. He holds his left extended to keep you at a distance, he has a great jab which you can't just walk through and even if you get past the jab and aren't fast (which Rogan isn't) he'll turn it into a left hook or walk you onto a straight right. To beat Klitschko you have to neutralise his left by having plenty of movement, by bobbing up and down and then hitting straight down the pipe because that's where his biggest defensive weakness is. Rogan wouldn't be able to get past Wlad's left; he'd give it a good go though! It would be an entertaining fight while it lasted, but it wouldn't last long.

Rogan would be out cold inside 2 or 3 rounds. Wlad will knock him out with a 1-2 whenever he wants. Wlad could probably land 100% of his punches aswell if he picked them. He literally couldn't miss against Rogan.

As would Haye in all probabilty!
To be quite honest, I don't think either would beat Wlad, but I would prefer to see Rogan V Klit as opposed to Haye.

Difference is Haye has a chance, however slim, Rogan doesn't. Why would you want to see Rogan humiliated?

You don't know that Rogan wouldn't have a chance.
There are no certainties in boxing.
I could ask all the Haye fans why they would want to see Haye humiliated. Some of you go on like he is superman.
Rogans chin is better, who's to say that fact would not give him more of a chance than Haye with his mad skills?!
You can have all the skills in the world but if you can't take a punch...
I don't find Haye particularly entertaining which is why I would rather see a fighter I enjoy watching.
Obviously I am not saying I would want Rogan to be hurt or humiliated.

I think he would do better than Chagaev did, he couldnt get near him.

Anyone who leads with their face against Wlad will get cut up. Could Rogan cause damage on this inside? Possibly, but only as much as any other Heavyweight that can throw a punch. I'm sorry but this is a little disrespectful to Wlad. I dont think he's great or anything but he'd take Rogan's head off.

Rogan can't take a punch at that level either. He can take a punch at domestic and European level, yes, but Sam Sexton was hurting him and he's barely knocked out half his opponents at domestic level. Klitschko is the biggest puncher in the division.

I would like Rogie to fight him for a couple of reasons.... to get a decent payday...and give him a biot of a roughing up......:bbb

Most people just seem to box the Klits at distance..... Rogie shoudl box him with his nose on his chest and give him any range.....I thought that Chagaev was poor last night and had totally the wrong strategy to get through Wlad's jab IMO :yep

That's because the Klitschkos are good at controlling the distance. Wlad has had no trouble controlling the distance against fighters a lot more skilled than Rogan and he would have no problem controlling the distance against Rogan too.

I agree with your point about their ability to control the distance.... but last night Chagaev made no effort to come inside..... no bodyshots thrown.... I think that when Haye gets inside that jab he will destructivley KO Wlad with a fierce uppercut.......

Wlad has a suspect chin..... 11 times on his ass means that if someone can get through him they can drop him.... I think that Rogie woudl jump on him.... for how long who knows but he coudl certianly make a better fist of it than Chagaev did last night IMO..... very dispointing that Chag was happy to absorb his lead hand all night and not have a plan B to go at..... from the 4th he shoudl have been jumping on him and trying to bully, rough up and take a bit of Wlad's spirit...

It was a very focused Wlad who did what he had to do.... but his work was made a lot easier because his opponent was not up for it IMO.. :yep

Rogan hasn't got the head movement, speed or footwork to get inside against Klitschko. Klitschko holds his left out to blind and control the distance, he uses his jabs to control the distance and to gradually weaken the opponent and if someone is close to getting on the inside he'll step back to keep them at distance and throw a left hook. Rogan wouldn't have much look getting past Wlad's left. It would be entertaining to see a fight where someone really tries to get on the inside against Klitschko and has a lot of heart, but Rogan doesn't have the ability to do it.

Bottle it :huh what would make you say something so stupid :patsch Even as a novice pro haye was stepping up all the while i mean at in his 25 fight wlad was fighting a journeyman called ross purity david haye has has 22 fights and already unified titles and stepped up a weight.

Haye has never shown at anytime that he would bottle it, what a stupid remark :-(

    Jeeez!

Rogan get stopped in about 6 or 7 rounds after getting his ass handed to him in the process.

Here is why I think Haye would bottle it :

He needs to "get into Wlads head" with all this bull**** and smack talking in order to get some sort of advantage in the fight.
He has been knocked down and knocked out by lesser punchers than Wlad.
He has not proven himself at the weight.

I think when the time came and he was face to face with Wladimir Klitschko, with 60,000 German fans urging Wlad on, he would realise that he has bitten off more than he can chew and the stark reality of the situation would dawn on him.

David Haye just dosen't come off as one of those fearless types, he talks a good game but talk is cheap.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a Haye hater or a Wlad fan at all, and if they fight in the future I would be rooting for Haye cos I always favour the underdog, but my gut tells me Haye would let the occasion get to him. So it is far from a stupid remark, it is merely my opinion.
