Rogan vs Sexton, did anyone see Rogan stop throwing when he had his man out?

Bizarre, he had the fight won and practically threw the fight away by not finishing his opponent when Sexton was out on his feet. Anyone else catch this one?

Yeah, I saw it. The swelling around the eye was bad, no doubt. But I don't think Dave Paris should have halted the action for the doctor to come in while Rogan had the momentum and was pretty close to winning by KO.

Paris also repeatedly gave Sexton extra seconds to recover after being rocked.

Rogan should have went in for the kill when he had Sexton out on his feet in the final round. It came back to bite him in the ass, big time.

definetly, I was a bit pissed with the ref because as you said he kept halting the action. I think Rogan if he had of done the job at the time when Sexton was out on his feet, he would still be undefeated. Not a good way to lose in your hometown Man, Damn, Im looking at the post fight interviews. That eye is real bad.

Rogan is just a game fighter with heart and determination. He's achieved quite a bit considering his lack of skill and defense.

Gutted, rogan had to just hit him one more and lights out. Too nice for his own good. Shitty ending, rogan got beaten by the bad swelling under his eye. There is no doubt that he would have won by KO had the fight not been stopped.

I have mad respect for Rogan after this fight. Being battered himself and with his eye closing down he had the presence of mind and kindness to think about the health of his foe. Saxton was wide open and defenseless in front of him. I hope this episode will bring him more recognition than a KO win over a helpless opponent.

the real question is why is Dave Paris still allowed to officiate...hes arguably the most currupt official ive ever seen + the worst!! he was shocking to Rogan!

I remember Hatton was complaining about Cortez, but he must be gratefull Paris let him hit Tszyu low repeatedly + grapple him more time than Hulk Hogan at a Wrestlemania

Paris was dodge in the extreme but I give Sexton a bit more credit. I think there was a bit of possum involved all be it if one more hay maker landed he was gone

Isn't Parris getting quite a reputation now for questionable officiating, to say the least?
