so it's over on the other site that Cotto could earn $6mil for a rematch with tacocheato.

I told you guys he wouldn't make **** by sticking to bob's stable of fighters. FIghting $ and Saul Alvarez over at GBP would be much better financially.

bob is notorious for cutting out the best deals for himself or taking more from the fighter. Read it in Oscar's book.

Shane Mosley, who has zero fans that pay for ppvs, was able to get a $6.7 guarantee for fighting $ over at GBP. THis doesn't take into account how ever much he got from his ppv cut.

yeah you're right about that. Cotto has more to gain if he beats Floyd also than Margarito and less to lose with the guarantee of more money

Let Roger keep thinking that Cotto is just a "tune-up". Anyways the fight will never happen and this is another "would've, could've" from Floyd's side.

Spadafora all the way baby. Cotto -----it is just talks, air

If Matthew Hatton won against Canelo, I am sure we will be watching Hatton vs. Gayweather........ the revenge of the brother angle sells.

But how much did Mosley make against Margarito? There are reports he received only 1 million, while Margarito got 2.3 Million. Cotto also made more than Mosley in their fight, 5.2 million to 3 million.

The most Golden Boy have ever paid any of their fighters was Mosley in that Mayweather fight. They usually underpay their stars, Khan, Alvarez get less than a million, Marquez barely a million. Mosley made 1 million vs Mora.

You're claiming Arum doesn't get the best deals for his fighters basing it on what that greedy and bitter sob De La Hoya says. Fact is he got Margarito 6 million when everyone said he was finished. Cotto would get 6 million for a Margarito rematch, you call that chump change? gtfo. Cotto wouldn't even get 3 million against Alvarez

Mayweather fight would be comparable with a Pac rematch. Cotto ended up with over 10 million in the Pac fight. Pac's even bigger now and Cotto would be looking at a 15 million dollars for the rematch. To go with 6 million for a Margarito rematch. He'd be stupid to leave and pass up the money in these sure fights and chances for redemption. Mayweather's been all talk for a while, who knows if he'd even fight Cotto

bob knowing how to take a lot of cash from fighters is more than just Oscar's stories.

Floyd earned a $22.5mil guarantee for the Mosley fight.

emmanuel earned $7.5mil guarantee for the Cotto fight. That's 3 times less than what Floyd received. Keep in mind emmanuel was also fighting a popular guy in Cotto while Mosley doesn't even bring in revenue.

If Floyd offered Cotto a fight, the sensible thing to do would be to leave tr if it's required in order to fight $.

payday from $ > payday from antonio

I understand you like emmanuel, but no one would buy a cotto emmanuel rematch. Who the hell even pumped the idea into your head? Cotto was ridiculously dominated by emmanuel. He even got on his bike in the last few rounds in a manner that said **** it. Anit no one going to want to see them fight again.

Cotto is past it now so it's not interesting. Floyd retired to avoid his peak. Gutless shite he is.

The Cotto fight would be comparable with the Marquez fight actually (2nd fight after DLH), where Floyd was gauranteed 10 million, ended up with 15.

This is what Pac has made, and he didn't have the luxury of being exposed to the 2.4 million viewers Floyd was against DLH.

    DLH 15Mill (6 gauranteed)

    Hatton 13Mill (7 gauranteed)

    Cotto 13Mill (7 gauranteed)

    Clottey 12Mill (??? gauranteed)

    Margarito 25Mill (15 gauranteed)

    Mosley 22.5Mill (reported gauranteed)

Arum's done right by him and gotten him more money than he he could done on his own or with any other promoter. DLH has NEVER gotten any of his fighters that sort of money, and never will.

People will buy the Cotto rematch. Watch how the Mosley fight does 1.5 million. The Barrera rematch sold just as much as the Morales fights. People will always pay to see two legends in the ring. Most of the PPV buyers are casuals. They will play up Cotto having a new trainer in the promotion and being better at the new weight and we will all eat it up and some even give him a chance, like they did Barrera.

Where are you getting these numbers? These two make no sense at all. Pac-Cotto sold way more than Pac-Hatton and Pacquiao had a much larger %. He probably made twice as much against Cotto as he did against Hatton.
