That's for emmanuel. Cotto isn't on emmanuel's level as a draw.

If GBP was able to guarantee a guy with no fans like Mosley $7mil for fighting Floyd, someone who's more business minded with a fanbase like Cotto should be able to command more than $7mil if he was to fight Floyd.

bob is only promising Cotto a total of up to $6mil for an antonio rematch.

If Cotto was offered a fight with $, the financially sensible thing to do between fighting $ or antonio is to fight $.

We'll see how Mosley emmanuel does PPV wise. I don't think it'll go anywhere near 1.5mil. A casual fan sees Mosley's face on television and a lighbulb goes off saying hey it's the black guy who smiles a lot that got beat up from ring post to ring post by $. They casuals know Cotto got beat up by emmanuel and didn't want it anymore by half way throughout the fight. They're not stupid enough to buy a rematch.

I know. Floyd walked away with around 22 or 23% of the $78.3mil generated from his Mosley fight, which totaled to a purse of over $40mil.

emmanuel walked away with around 20% of the $70mil generated from his Cotto fight, so he ended up with over $22mil.

Do you think emmanuel signing contracts with two different companies is a reason why bob can't pay him as much with the guarantees?

6 million for a Margarito rematch. Margarito man. HBO and GBP could only pay Mosley 1 million against a prime Margo. Arum got Margarito 6 million against Pac. Don't you remember on here all the crying about a cheater like him getting such an absurdly big payday? Besides the Mosley-Mayweather fight the most i can recall Golden boy paying one of their fighters was Marquez 3.2 million against Floyd. Cotto will get more than 7 million against Floyd for sure, as he would get for a Pac rematch. Pac rematch will happen if he takes care of business with Margo, and you're hugely underestimating fan interest in this fight. Cotto has done over 400K twice I think, so it will be his fanbase and many of Pac's together, plus the casuals. A sure 1 million for the rematch

might have something to do with it, Pac's reported purse with the nsac was 13 million for Cotto. Golden Boy took them to court claiming they were not declaring all that they paid Pac. I remember Pac had a four-five deal when the suitcase thing happened, that's probably over now and maybe that explains Pac's gaurantee now going up for the Mosley and Margarito fights

being the president of the phillipines ? why would arum give 2 ****s about that? its like rewarding your best employee by giving him the title of head janitor....in charge of all the other janitors...
i dont think mayweather wants to fight him anyway, but no way in **** is arum "helping him" by preventing the biggest fight in the last decade...thats the stupidest thing ive heard all day

none of you broke ass mother ****ers know what the **** mayweather got paid or his % or what he owes in taxes, or what a fight generated...and what do you guys care anyway, you will never make in your life as much as what they tax him on one fight ....
simple math for you...mayweather can make more money in this fight, than he has in any fight in his life... and and with a guy that started off at 107 pounds, something mayweather likes, smaller guys...but his ***** ass wont fight...bottom line...and you can fill in a list of reas...i mean excuses why he wants to turn down in excess of 45 million for 1 fight....hes a *****

22% or 23% of 78.3M is 18M. I think Floyd's payday against was closer to 26-27M. Because I heard Floyd would get 22.5M guarantee plus a slice of the PPV for every sale above 1.2 million.

If you do a rule of three, 22.5M for 1.2M PPV = 26.25M for 1.4M PPV

Like Pacquiao, I heard guarantee was 7.5M + I remember reading that if the fight did 700K Pac would get 13M. If you do a rule of three then

    13M for 700K PPV sales = 23.2M for 1.25M ppv sales.

I went by what was widely reported. News reports had $ walking off with $40mil.

    22.5 (guarantee) + 18 = comes out to about 40mil

I think those figures were grossly exagerrated and don't really add up.
