Floyd is in it for the $. He's wouldn't ever turn down an easy fight worth $50 mil. Some people are too gullible.

Pacquiao turned down $40 mil because his mommy said no and drawing blood supposedly makes him weak.

Floyd could indeed turn down the fight because he "changed the rules" and said testing is up until the fight now. Pacquiao either takes it or "no fight".

We'll see, I suppose. I just don't want Floyd to let us down and retire without facing the next 3 guys like he promised. It's why I lost repsect for him after his Hatton fight.

That's the problem grown ass mean complain like a bunch of bitches. I saw you complaining about why Floyd have to say that while the kid Armando was next to him. Quit being such a ***** and a politcal correct *****. You dont know what Floyd and that Kid talked about when the camera wasnt rolling.

Plus who did you want Floyd to fight after a 2 year layoff?

It made sense cause Floyd came back to fight the best i.e. Pacquao so why not fight a guy who gave Pacquiao plenty of trouble to gage yourself against the guy who was on top and the guy you came back to fight.

Floyd was still at the negotiating table the last time pacquiao and friends left his AZZ cold for The Great Ghana Joshua "Stand There" Clottey. Would Floyd turn down pac's offer for a cut off date? Yes

That mofo wants the fight as long as he's insured everyone is clean.

Is pac still making his $10 mil per overweight pound demand?:think

Nobody made Marquez take that fight. Floyd chose asked Marquez and he said yes. He chose Marquez solely to gage himself against Paquiao imo. He wanted to see how good Paquiao was by fight Marquez. Manny Pacquiao is the only reason Floyd came back to boxing besides that bread he knew he could make.

    indeed...

...Mayweather coming back to fight JMM was all part of a divine plan? Wow. Once again...

    * oh, and he could have fought a legitimate welterweight, not drag JMM all the way up, and then have the nerve to come in OVER the limit. Not saying he had to make his comeback fight against one of the top-tier guys, but a LEGIT welter would have sufficed!

I actually never had a problem with him fighting Marquez. Yes, Marquez was at a great disadvantage physically and stylistically, but Floyd was coming back from a long layoff and Marquez did call out Floyd. In addition, I think it was a rebuttal in a way to everyone making mention of how much better fashion Pacquiao defeated Floyd's last opponent in De La Hoya and was going to be fighting his last opponent in Hatton; so now Floyd was sending a message of his own showing how easily he could defeat the opponent that gave Pacquiao the most trouble.

I'm just skeptical because I wouldn't be completely surprised if he retired again

He seems to be a different fighter now than he was against Baldomir and De La Hoya, though. So that's hopeful.

Listening to Roger, he truly believes Pac is (and Pinoy soldiers during the war are) on A-side meth. I thought he was just kidding the first time he said it.
