I think it is way too early. Even if we think it would be a great submission grappling match they'd be advertising a 2-0 fighter against the best ever. Roger is going to be fighitng at 205 as well. He is a fighter they can build.
This is likely true... that was the Gracie`s biggest downfall in MMA later on, they werent good enough wrestlers to get it to the ground & if that opponent was a better striker, your in ****. Royce v Sakuraba & Renzo v Henderson are just 2 examples. Rickson was the best wrestler in the Gracie family, he understood how important it was tho.
A grappling match would be cool to watch but a fight is only going to end one way. When Fedor's involved it always ends one way.
The only problem here is that Roger would get brutally KO'd in the first round without putting up any kind of fight. Other than that it's a good idea.
Word is that Fedor will fight Werdum next; Werdum is not far off in terms of sport grappling, and probably better in transfering to MMA. So basically this is in the works, just with a fighter who stands a better chance of not getting beat shitless.
