Roger Mayweather is an Overrated "trainer.
Roger is a wanna-be trainer, cause he never made anyone from scratch.

Who else has he trained besides being a "mitt-holder" & cornerman for Floyd???
    Dion Savage???

    :lol::lol:

Dion got KO's TWICE (in 1st round  ) under Roger.

Roger has never made a fighter from scratch, because he doesn't know how to.

Roger tried to train Dion, but Roger couldnt make anything out of Dion, cause Roger sucks at "training" cause Roger dont know how to train, cause Roger is a  wanna be-"trainer".

A good trainer knows how to start an untrained person into a fighter and makes, atleast a good contender. Roger cant do that.

The marks of a good trainer is someone that can take a person that has never boxed in his life, and teach him how to jab, how to work-out, footwoork, strategies, etc. and turn that person into a competive fighter, and, atleast, make a top conteder out of him

    Roger has never done that.

    Roger didn't even start Floyd.
It was Floyd's father (Floyd Sr.) that taught Mayweather Jr. how to box, how to do footwork, how to balance, bob & weave, etc. and so much more.

When Floyd Sr. went to prison, Roger stepped in (again) and continued where Floyd Sr. had left off.

This goes on to show, that Roger is a hypocrite and wanna-be "trainer" that is taking undue credit for his brother-Floyd Sr.'s work,
cause it was Floyd Sr. that made his son, Floyd Jr. the fighter he is, not Roger.

    :D.

how are rogers other from scratch boxers this is just one example

guy is used to working with floyd level talent and gets a boxer who isnt there yet

you can train a guy 100 percent perfect and if the guy isnt capable of it than that isnt the trainers fault

maybe if roger had a whole stable of failures id say he is a bad trainer but how are his other guys

    one example isnt enough

Sr started it but Roger perfected him. Roger is an excellent trainer and dosnt take a back seat to any trainer out there today. How many trainers maintain a fighter the caliber of Floyd?

I think Roger is the most normal out of the Mayweather family. If you noticed, he never talks back to his brother when the crackhead senior tells jr that he made him. He is as humble as a Mayweather can be, and also as polite as a Mayweather can be.

Heres' another that Roger "trained", and then Roger assaulted her.

    ,,,,

Floyd Jr. was already built by Floyd Sr.
Roger just worked floyd jr. corner afterwards, and held  punch mitts for him.

    I like Roger.

The value of the name 'Mayweather' seems to mean alot to him in terms of a Historical boxing sense, Floyd says he fights for a cheque but to Roger, he's greatful that the family name will be remembered.

Floyd basically trained himself for the Baldomir fight, and still looked sensational, but Roger seems to be spot on with his instructions, like when he told Floyd to walk Mosley down.

Roger does the film work and formulates the strategies. He's a very good trainer, but the success of the trainer is still dependent on the fighter.

and you can see the improvement in Floyd's offense and combination punching when Roger took over.

its like saying Garcia is a bad trainer cause Ortiz lost

a trainer can do everything right but if your fighter is stupid or doesnt follow thru their end of the bargain that isnt on the trainer
