Have to agree. I'm a Floyd fan but I don't see Roger being of any help. His advice in the corner is the worst. Roger is just there to play patty-cakes on 24/7. Floyd wins on his talent alone.

Most people will never admit it, but you really have to give credit to Floyd Sr. My guess is he abusively trained Floyd in his youth and that's why the two are so distant.

For one thing, Floyd forbid Rodger from taking on any other big name fighters. Floyd said something along the lines that Rodger was 'his' trainer and that if he wants to get paid to be 'his' trainer then he needs to be available at all times. That was after I think Forbes asked Rodger to train him for the Dela Hoya fight.

Second, Rodger being under Floyd, doesn't get affiliated with any of the promoters as far getting hooked up with any prospects.

Third, unlike alot of big name promoters, Rodger does train a lot of lesser talented fighters and I really have to respect him for that. He takes guys who aren't projected to make it far and works with them.

Roger a G, second best trainer in boxing behind Sr(also a G). Money May's the best on Earth right? Well then the best trainers are the ones that trained the best. Sr and Uncle Roger. Irrefutable. Nacho is number 3. Freddy the joke coach Roach is okay but not on Sr's, Roger's, or Nacho's level.

Doesn't matter, who's the best on the planet. Money. Who trains Money, Roger, formally Sr. Therefore they are the best. Ain't rocket science homie. :patsch

Both Roger and Floyd Sr. have not made a top notch fighter from scratch, other than Floyd Sr. making his son, Floyd Jr. into the fighter he is.

Floyd Sr. tried to train Hatton, DelaHoya and little success occurred.

There are way better trainers out there, than Floyd Sr. and Roger.

and Floyd is not the best, cause Floyd ducked Antonio Margarito many times, and in a sense, Margarito has beaten Floyd jr. by DEFAULT.:D
