ortiz was a god when he ran over berto and he thanked manny for his ped tips for the berto fight.:yep and even boxing girl sayed ohhhh i dont think floyd would take a fight like this in this stage of his career and look what happend.so i want to know was floyd pushed into this fight like he was with mosley  he was so scared of shane and never wanted anything to do with him right ?

ortiz is a better fight then manny fighting catch weight fights, fighters coming of a loss or in there 40's. would manny fight a ortiz or berto, hell would he fight bradley ? the answer is no no no no no hell no. but he will fight jmm at the same weight floyd fought him at, not to mention the gave floyd hell for that. wheres the catch weight now manny, how come no 140 vs jmm i know yo can make the weight.

yeah, its pretty obvious here that pacman is the one ducking floyd. right joyboys?

Looks to me FMJ might be at that place all great fighters get to. He is doing his own thing. Seems Roger wants him much more active.

Only problem is that you forgot all of the implied understanding

Pretty clear when you don't apply your selective ******* reasoning. It is all quite logical.

    Yes. Pacquiao is. :deal

    fan quote of the week

To be fair, this is Roger's opinion. He didn't even have a say in the selection of Ortiz, so, he doesn't necessarily know what Floyd's intentions are. But, it seems Roger is not convinced that Floyd can keep coming back from long layoffs against the top active fighters and have success. He will slip eventually. He does need to fight more frequently, if he wants to be at his absolute best. He's not really even been in the gym, according to Roger.

Personally, I think Ortiz would be an excellent tune-up for a fight with Pac. But, it depends on just how much rust Floyd has. If he looks unimpressive in his fight with Ortiz, he should not seek a fight with Pac right after (assuming he wins that fight). He should take more tune-ups, until he is at his, possible, best. If he puts on his usual brilliant performance, he should immediately seek the fight with Pac...no long vacations, layoffs, etc.
