Dont see where you're trying to get you boxrec warrior you.

Being a former world champ doesnt make you a expert in the history of boxing and pointing out fighters on some board on the wall doesnt either.

    BR warrior?

I saw him fight when he was active. I've been watching boxing since I was a kid.

Being a fighter, especially someone of his background will allow you to have a better insight on fighters that someone that is labled an "expert," like Bert sugar, won't have. So you can read as many books as you like and memorize stats, but that doesn't equal having the same insight as an elite fighter and understanding boxers.

Does he have bias? Yeah, of course. All humans do.

Tyson is a boxing historian. I'd say much better than the likes of Bert Sugar.
But let's knock him too because he was just a fighter.

Writers with egos like to do that all the time to make themselves feel like they are better. As if a Boxer doesn't have a brain.

He knows whats going on in the ring i have no doubt about that im just saying that pointing at fighters pics and saying their name isnt anything special, anyone who follows boxing can do that you dont have to be a former champ or a boxing expert to do it.

Yes, I hear ya...but it is also a short clip of him talking. Can't expect him to dish it all out. Now if his knowledge of boxing history is vast, I don't know. I actually wondered that myself so...I can't exactly go ***** on you. Of course his knowledge of boxing for fighting will be.

Boxing "experts" should first be "experts" in the "art of boxing." History, is the follow up. Although they may be linked on some level because fighters should pay attention to history and watch and know about fighters before their time.
Expert level will say. Anybody that fights on a high enough level that can achieve a high ranking. And I'll throw in trainers if they can teach it on a high level. Things of that nature.

Boxing historian, is the label for those that study up on the history...stories, details...of the sport.

I actually wonder how much Tyson has left in his brain given his looooong draining life.
The only thing I can remember seeing of him still being sharp is in those interviews prior the fight with Williams where he is discussing the history of the sport.
