    His dismissive gestures on Dundee, Futch and as Steward were a bit ignorant as well. I understand Roger is a big student of the game but a bit arrogant and ignorant.

    So Joe Louis is clearly admitted by Roger to be one of the very best ever , one of the top two .. and Joe was tarined by Jack Blackburn, an old timer from the age of Gans, Langford and Walcott .. maybe there were some old timers that knew a thing or two ?

    Now that I've actually listen to what he said, I still stand by my pick of Arcel. I think he had in mind Charles, and Duran, although he could also have had Benny Leonard in mind as well.
