No one has ever gone 49-0-0.

    Fact.

Every time someone came close, they lost or got a draw.

BS. You conveniently left out the only blemish on his record. He had a draw, which everyone who watched the fight thought he actually lost.

    Ricardo Lopez, 51-0-1 :deal:hi:

Marciano doesn't hold any record at 49-0. Benvenuti made it to like 65. Chavez made it to 87. I think Jimmy Wilde was like 103.

Lopez' draw to Alvarez came in his 48th fight, TD8. He beat Alvarez by SD in the rematch.

They all lost... except for Marciano! Yes, Marciano has the record for......... Most wins without a loss or draw by a World Champion. It is a fact.

Roman Gonzalez currently sits at 41-0 35 knockouts. He fights 4 times a year and is only 27. If things go his way he gets to 50-0 in two years. For a while, I thought it would be funny if he just took like ten fights one year to beat Floyd to 50.

Hey, I felt like Morales should have been 50-0 after his win over Pacquiao, but guess what? In reality he was 48-2 and would go on to catch a few butt whippings. Point? Retiring as a World Champ with a record of 49-0... and never ever losing or fighting even is a big thing.

He's also a 3 division champ... but if he ever loses it doesn't mean anything, in regards to what we are attempting to talk about.

50-0-0 (or more wins), World Champ, Retire... let me know when somebody does this and never goes on to eventually lose a fight.

ROFLMAO its TWICE as corrupt today as it was back then. They don't even try to hide the corruption today.
Anyway anywhere but Vegas & Floyd would have two losses already.

ok fine, but how about Julio Cesar Chavez? He was 87-0-0 at one point, and no one talked about comparing records with Rocky.

Chavez lost you dumb motherfvcker!!! And BTW, Chavez was praised thruout his career for having such an outstanding record. Read carefully...

    The criteria is-

    1. Undefeated thru entire pro career, not even a draw
    2. Be a World Champion
    3. Win 49 fights in a row from the start of pro career

When someone else does this let me know. Lopez went 47-0 then had a draw, very close.

People dont want to see it beaten by cherrypicking, which is sadly what were gonna get

49-0 dont mean **** nowadays with cherrypicking the norm

It's still annoying that such a coward's gonna break it though
