I've watched the fight atleast 5 times and everytime I watch I get either 9-3 or 8-4. Oscar just wasn't effective he was scared to let his hands go in the middle of the ring because he knew he would be countered, PBF did more than enough to earn his respect with his power. Not to mention he took Oscar's jab away. This wasn't a blow-out by any means but it should have been a clean and clear UD win for PBF.

The compubox numbers after that fight were WAY the **** off.

I gave the fight to Floyd but Oscar caught TONS of Floyds punches on his gloves.

With all due respect and not interfering with BewareofDawg -Pimp C exchange of thoughts, I would suggest that the first step to undermine boxing's credibility is to make your own compubox numbers and leave no common standard to compare opinions and views with. Oscar's performance can be given too much credit ( I personally give a lot of credit) but not based on punch stats - actually, it's based on punch stats that you can reinforce Mayweather's "dominance" - Floyd landed 207 punches ( compared to Hoya's 122), 69 jabs ( Hoya - 40), had 138 power-punch connects ( Hoya - 82). Otherwise, Hoya threw over a hundred more punches ( 587 to 481) and nobody can say that he was not the aggressor throughout... People often want to exchange opinions based on less objective impressions such as Ring Generalship and Effective Aggressiveness, but without numbers everybody would accept, judging boxing is a perfect mind field.

I had it a draw but 115-113 DLH seems ok to me, he was making the fight, putting Mayweather on the ropes and people think that those flurries didnt connect but they did, bloodied Mayweathers nose. Mayweather was very tentative until the late rounds, most punches were blocked by OScar.

    Cotto by KO.

In those early rounds when Oscar flurried what did Floyd do? nothing, avoiding punches ok but where is the offense? Then when they were in the center of the ring he pot shoted Oscar and hit him on the gloves, you gotta give the round to Oscar he at least connected 3 out of 20.

What's funnier than Uncle Roger's addition is that several supposedly non-crackhead posters on here didn't notice anything up with it!

Ok. I'm fine with people scoring it for Floyd. My question was to the compubox numbers for landed punches being way off.
