Roger is a really good trainer. He's brilliant in that video, he just walks into an MMA gym and he's the boss. If he dont' do it properly, he ****in tells them. In the best way possible.

"You hit as hard as my son" (who's like 5)

A main thing you have to correct with MMA fighters when training them for boxing is their guard. You'll notice that often they'll hold their elbows out too far or their left hands too low leaving an opening for bodyshots and right hands over the top. You see Roger correcting them on some of that stuff here.

I share the same minority opinion as you....I think floyd, sr. is the better trainer....The problem is with Sr. is I think he can only work with 2 types of styles, pure boxers, like de la hoya, and defensive minded fighters, like his son....He is a very good trainer, once you get past the bravado...

The one area where roger is very good, is he can adapt in the middle of fights....I don't think Sr. can...

I see top MMA guys...embarrassing themselves by showing awful, awful punching technique in real fights. Mir, Sherk, Penn all have decent striking.

damn those guys can't even get arrested for domestic violence if they hit their wife or gf. absolutely terrible. stiff, uncordinated, no power, no foot work, and those are probably the good things that i saw.

Man these MMA fighters are stupid , i have really tried to give the UFC a look but every time i see fighters with terrible balance , no footwork and horrible defences , it is really like a school yard scuffle , and that is reflected in the Skin head ****** fans .

Look at what roger is trying to teach them , this is what i was taught as an 11 year old in the gym , and these people are 35!!!

Great stuff. How many people here think they could have impressed Rodger with their hand work. LOL
