This time my friend, the Floydettes would disagree with Roger. MOst of the time, they will agree to anyone with a Mayweather as a last name.

I could see something like : Vernon who lost to MAYORGA TWICE?

One way we would have all found out, had Floyd accepted Margo's challenge before. :deal Well, after Floyd loses to Shane, he might reconsider fighting Margo 'coz Pac is definitely going for Shane.

I don't like PBF BUT he would outbox both PW and Margo. As for Shane I don't know if he can do this at 38, in his prime I would have readily picked him but he is old now, think about it, Mayweather waited till he was pushing 40 to fight him.

I think of all the boxers who are from the same eara as Mayweather Forest would be his tougest test. I think Mayweather would win a close decision though.

great post...i always thought the person to beat Floyd is the person who plays his game and fights at their own distance and pace...unfourtunately those guys are at hgher weights.

Shane has a good chance but he just doesnt fight like that.

People are forgetting that Floyd is not a true WW like Forrest was.

A prime Forrest would beat Floyd, as would a prime Mosley.

What next week will tell us is how far from prime Mosley currently is.

He did not exactly fit the mold of fighter who would defeat mayweather but if you take a poll, many would have him winning the first fight.

Trying to outbox Mayweather is useless as he is the ultimate counterpuncher. He is very disciplined that he would wait until you commit a mistake before he throws a punch. Infact, he even had to malke JMM the aggressor, while he counterpunched.

considering Floyd hasn't done **** at welterweight, it's not much of a stretch to pick Forrest, or any other elite welter of the past to beat him.

if he Vernon Forest was alive, they (the Mayweathers) wouldve not even mentioned his name! or probably .."who is he?!?....how many losses do he hav?!?...blah bla usual nonsense"
