I agree Forrest would give him hell. He has the lenght and jab to do it.

post the whole post..dont just pick bits and pieces...the question was asked about who floyd couldn't beat..i explained 160 and up he cant compete with the top guys and most likley gets an l against the top 7 in each division..u should know what your posting about before u post...i think u thought i meant he would have an easy night or some **** when infact i meant it the other way around...floyd would have the difficult night and would probably be an underdog against the mw's and up for the top guys...not guys like "andy kolle" either...im talkin top competition man

Imo they shouldn't have stopped the first Mayorga-Forrest I fight, and Forrest won the rematch clearly...

i've always believed a tall fighter who fights from range would cause floyd problems. basically throw a jab and be at a range where if floyd wants to land, then he has to come to range to throw, which is totally the way floyd wouldn't want to fight, but would be forced to have to.

some mention paul williams causing trouble because of his size, but he doesn't fight his size as he likes to come to fighters and brawl at times. **** defense aswell. hearns is the same in the sense he liked to brawl. not saying he wouldn't beat floyd, but he didn't use his reach to it's full advantage.

The Forrest who beat Mosley would kick Mayweather's ass clean across the ring. Fast, varied, an amazing jab that he consistently pumped out, good work rate and a hard puncher - Mayweather would lose so badly it would be a virtual shut out. He'd just be on the end of that jab all night, then as Floyd got busted up the right would start to come over.

A painful night for Pretty Boy.

Vernon Forrest was a very tough fighter, and he would've given Floyd problems at 147...

I think Vernons size, speed and quality of jab are what Roger sees as the principle threats to Floyd.

Didn't he say something like 'You need a stick to beat my guy" in the build-up to the Hatton fight.

I think he sees a tall rangy welter with a stiff jab as the closest thing to kryptonite (as far as as Floyd jr concerned)

Prime Delahoya would have been Floyd's toughest test. He was tall, had the stamina, a great jab and great left hook.

That is just in the past 20 years or so. Obviously leonard, Duran and Hearns would've beaten him

Forrest didn't lose that second fight. That was one of the worst decisions of that time, in what was probably compuboxes worst night ever.
