Neither were exactly unbeatable but Roger just seemed more vulnerable to me, while the Bruce Curry of 1977 was a very hard puncher at light welterweight. I think he would eventually catch up to Roger, although the opposite could happen.

Roger probably wins by late round kayo, in a thrilling fight for the first six or seven rounds.Curry would not lay there and die, that's for sure.

"The Black Ass Mamba" of '87 and '88 at 140 pounds hit paydirt there........ He would be too slick, powerful and good for Bruce Curry....

I always felt Bruce Curry was game, but never great in the ring.... Curry got TWO gift decisions over my man Leroy Haley in 1983, etc..... I thought Haley won BOTH fights... Especially # 2......

Roger wins a close decision over Bruce, in a thrilling fight.Bruce makes it hell for Roger in the first five rounds, but at the start of the middle rounds, Roger's boxing ability takes over. This was a better weight for him, and Roger wins by the count of 10-5, possibly 9-6.
