yeah, it sure seems that way.i'm just trying to find out where hatton fits in against some of the champs and top 140lb fighters of the last 30 years or so.according to the fans on esb. i appreciate the input. i was looking through alot of the matchups and there didnt seem to be any such matchups, hatton vs champs of the past so i started some of my own.
He's not a top level operator but he's up there over the past 30 years for me. The obvious ones are above him and then you could have him in and around nywhere on a list after them. Roger hit hard as most of us know, i think that Hatton in his prime would have a good chance and i' favour him. Hatton's footwork wasn't that bad, at cutting the ring and getting in fast, tere would probably be a lot of mauling, and barring a ko loss, i don't think there's much Roger does to bother him, he'd just fight i out with him, Ricky would make him. Hatton on points i'll go wth.
Whether Roger wins or loses, he's definitely going to pour some gasoline on Ricky's gym equipment afterward and light in on fire.
LoL....that is a classic Roger quote. I always though if Pac and May ever fight (a big if) and if Pac won (also a damn big if) it would be funny to show that clip in the post fight press conference.
Good fight. Mayweather had the punch to finish Hatton, and I think he'd put him down. But if he didn't keep him down, he doesn't do what it takes to win on points. Ricky would be way to positive and active in that case, and could very well work the body enough to catch up to Roger late. I favor Hatton, but only 60/40 or 65/35. The finishing ability and right hand of Mayweather pose big trouble to Ricky, but it was the only obstacle he'd really need to get by.
