Floyd has had an awesome career. The only thing against him is that the Pacquaio fight wasn't made in 2009, that is what harms his legacy.

mayweather would have a strong case if he beats cotto, pacman and martinez only at 160 for the mw belt. if floyd can pull that off, he is the greatest in this era and the one before it.and 2nd all time on sugar ray rob. he would also have to stay undefeated as well while doing this.but if done it could be argued are all day at the very least.

If he beats, Cotto, Pac and Sergio then he is certainly up there.

It's annoying to see how many people are complete Floyd nuthuggers, but what makes me happy is knowing that once he is retired, no actual boxing fan is going to rate him as high as people think.

"You know what his record was?....127-1. Do you know any other fighter with a record of 127-1? And the fighter that beat him.....[Robinson] beat him six times....Jake LaMotta. And the only reason he beat Robinson, is because he outweighed him by like 50-pounds. "

Joe Louis was 75 years old when they fought!!
