    Roger Tilleman who refereed Robin Reid vs Sven Ottke died in March. John Rawling mentioned it last night.

    I’ve received the sad and regrettable news of the death today of the beloved Roger Tilleman at the age of 68 who passed away after 10 days in intensive care in an artificial coma due to a sudden abdominal aortic aneurysm. Roger was a member of the Royal Belgian Boxing Federation and a well-known EBU and WBC ring official.

    He was an extremely prominent and indeed controversial figure. I'm surprised his passing wasn't mentioned sooner.

    I was quite shocked to be honest.

    Yeah I heard this at the time. Can't be too sad with some of the obvious screw-jobs the guy was involved in.
