To be fair i had it 116-112, so whilst i think 117-111 is a bit wide it's hardly outrageous.

I needed to give Froch every close round in order to make this a close fight. Kessler made the fight round after round and landed enough to "be effective". Kessler had an edge in effective aggressiveness, ring generalship, and punches landed. Froch landed some heavy shots throughout. I've no doubt that corruption in judging exists one only has to look at Froch/Dirrell as an example.
Tilleman might even have been inclined to cheat in this fight. Even if this is the case I would maintain he didn't need to cheat this time around, Kessler won fairly and it shouldn't haver been close on the cards this time.

I had it 6 rounds a piece and knew when Lennon JR said unanimous decision that Kessler had won because of Tilleman , I know Froch has few fans on ESB but we are all boxing fans and that means we want exciting fights with fair results and too many fights are ruined by scoring and we as fans seem to accept this -
Tilleman , judge who scored Williams vs Martinez all for Williams , judges for Diaz vs Mailigniaggi 1 should be thrown out of sport because they are clearly bent

Even though I scored it a draw think Kessker deserved it if I had to lean one way , he is a warrior and I think both fighters should be cut some slack on this forum

That's the problem with fights like this, where each round 'is' very close. If a judge comes up with a scorecard like 117-111, and I rewatched the fight and can see how one might because Kessler spent most of the fight moving forwards, backing Froch up and peppering him with his jab (not to say Froch didn't return fire) but as RobertV77 says, that can count for effective aggression and ring generalship.

That having been said, Froch did surprise me with some of the upper-body movement he displayed and his ability to slip punches. That adds another dimension to a man I felt was a slow-plodding brawler. They both fought a very competitive fight which was extremely fun to watch. I gave the nod to Kessler.

Its outrageous that the organizations don't consider cheating/corruption to be an impediment to making a career as a judge/referee.

I had Froch winning 115-113, you could make a case for kessler for a similar score but tilleman's scorecard was bogus

I warned about this idiot before the fight. He was the referee in the notorious Ottke v Reid fight.

Fortunately his ridiculous scorecard didn't affect the overal result

Now its revealed that tillerman gave round 5 to froch which was obvious... But he also gave froch round 11 and 12 unlike the other 2 judges. Just so his scorecard would look better, a bit like odlh trinidad...
His real score should have been 119-109. Now, is that corrupt???

I agree. I had it 116-112 too, so it is only one round's difference.

The worst thing is that we all knew he was going to put a bad scorecard in given the chance. And he had the balls to do it anyway, knowing that his card would be under more scrutiny than anyone elses! I just can't believe that bloke. The fact that judges like that are tolerated give the sport such a bad name it really sickens me.

Tillerman's card looks totally premade. It looks like he's got to the end and gone "erm, looks a little wide, lets toss in some Froch rounds".

I have no idea how he's not giving Froch 10 for instance. 5,10 & 11 are all indisputable Froch rounds.

Spot on. And it's just coincidence that the Sauerlands manage to get him judging a huge fight featuring one of their fighters

wbc should have blacklisted him long time ago but they let him judge for their title. this whole boxing circus can be disgusting sometimes...
