Let's get it right, he had a serious injury that flared up at the end of the 6th, that is a well recorded fact.

Rogan seems to have lost the plot a bit. It's a pity because he's a good character.

I don't think he's willing to put in the graft anymore and Fury could embarrass him badly in front of his own people in Belfast. Not a good way to go out.

Not much to ask for Rogan to give his all in a 'fight' is it when you consider Danny Williams fought with a dislocated arm and not only carried on but even won the fight by ko.
Arthur Abraham had a broken jaw against Miranda and still fought on to win on points.

Rogan's whole career depended on him pulling off the win, but he quit mate. Injured or not he quit. I dont hate the guy, but hate the fact he quit in a fight that had so much going for him. I liked the guy especially after the awesome Skelton fight, but when he quit against Sexton he lost all that respect.

To be fair Sexton was giving him a bit of a kicking.

More so than in the first fight, though even in that one Rogan only got back into it because Sexton's stamina is horrendous, allied to his shaky chin.

I have never got the fuss about Rogan. He is obviously a little soft in the head - £50k is big money for a fighter of his stature. All you ever hear from him these days is excuses not to fight.

    No sympathy here.

As is the mantra of many a boxer nowadays when their candle burns out. It's one of boxings downfalls as many boxers end up this way, deluded and bitter.

I will always be grateful for him stopping Skleton. I couldn’t stand the guy and was glad to see him get his ass kicked.

    This.

There's no logic to the arguement that he just quitted. Why would a man of his age just quit in such a massive fight and go a year without fighting?

I agree that he should have taken the Fury fight though. 50K is decent money and it was his chance to get straight back in the big time. To be perfectly honest there was probably fighters who deserved to be ahead of him in the queue to fight Fury but Rogan was fortunate that Fury was anxious to fight an Irish fighter in Ireland

Whether he was injured or not is a bit of a moot point really because he was absolutely on the verge of getting stopped.

What is Rogie really complaining about? 50K is great money from where i'm standing from and he doesn't really have any bargaining power coming off defeats, boxers amaze me sometimes.

He's 40, he's had two six rounders in almost two years, 16 fights in all and his only real successes were against a has-been and a never-was. Turning down 50 grand with that sort of record is insane. He will never, ever get another chance like this.
