the press conference had the desired effect, there's a lot of buzz for this fight, its gonna be a sell out and a fantastic atmosphere Rogie TKO in a slugfest with both fighters busted up
Fair play to Sexton for coming back to Belfast for the rematch, no one can say he don't lack balls for doing this as it was an absolute red hot atmosphere in the first fight, and if I can borrow an ole Cockney phrase, the rematch will be off the hook. Like someone said on this thread, he was badly advised when he was over here for the presser, I can imagine that is why Rogie got so angry. Rogan and Sinclair recently went over to the middle-east to help with a boxing cross-community initiative and he really prides himself that he is fighting for everyone in NI, not just one community. I hope in the next presser, this politics doesnt re-surface because it never has had a place in Northern Irish boxing, something that is typified by the cross-community boxing support for the likes of McGuigan, McAuley, McCullough and many others over the years.
I seriously cannot wait for this fight now. Its a long time since I've seen a fighter so genuinely angry with his opponent. Not pretend, just for the camera's but old-school angry.
Sexton is a ****ing lowlife for doing waht he did.i mean there are ways to sell a fight, and there us just goddam stupid things which could potentialy set a community back years. the thing that some people seem to miss is that Sextons actions could couse problems that are bigger than the fight itself .i seriously hope that Roga finishes the job and dont give this **** the oppertunity to stir his sectarian pish .
if not to sound arguementative...rogie fights for the whole of ireland north, south, east and west...not only northern ireland...he represents the people of dublin and cork as proudly as he represents the people of belfast and derry
sexton not only posed infront of UDA murals in east belfast but he also ****ed the queens haunted gee
