    I would really like to hear some of these famous Chute Boxe stories, but I'm crap at finding them on the internet. I've seen the video of teenage Shogun getting KOed in somebody's living room (and it's really weird that he windmills arm punches like he's in a slap fight with handbags. But he's 17 years old and fighting in an 8x8 foot area. What are you gonna do. :lol:). And I've read about Wanderlei vs Shogun in a gym war over ownership of a pitbull puppy. But that's pretty much it.

    I'm quite interested to know more about this team of fighters at that point in time, but I'm crap at finding good information about them. :-(

    Definitely. He seemed like a fighter who lived off of intimidation, aggression and rage back in his memorable hay day.

    These days it's almost like he's just enjoying his moonlight moments, he seems more aware of his own presence and he tries to please the crowd. Back when he was dominant he really just tried to destroy whatever was in front of him, which was also very entertaining!

    Got to love him, he's all fighter.

    C' mon guys....all the fighters involved with Pride were on the juice. Yes that means Wand,Rampage, Shogun, Coleman And even the great Fedor plus so many more. Did you see those guys ? All muscle bound freaks with endless stamina. Obvious signs of the stuff. Plus Pride didnt care if they juiced they encouraged it...The Yakuza ran Pride and sold fighters the **** at the same time ,everybody who isnt a fanboy knows this.

    Oh the fanboys know it damned well. In fact they likely know that the extent of the roiding and the Yakuza corruption goes deeper than the common knowledge. Those refs didn't wear earpieces for no reason. :yep

    They just don't want to admit it, because you know, **** Dana White. And **** noobs who became interested in a new sport as it was actually growing and becoming relevant. They're like hipsters who complain that their favourite band sold out and became **** as soon as they signed a record deal or got a single on the radio. :lol:

    He wasn't soft when he first came in.

    He only got soft after he came back in 09". And he even said he was trying to get bigger.

    I think he didn't have the drive anymore.

    He looked like he didn't give a **** from the start.
