I think it would be a very close fight, but Young, at his best, circa Foreman, Ali and Norton handles him well and wins a decision.

Definitely Jimmy Young. He beat a pear prime George Foreman. Lastarza wouldn't even get into the ring with Nino Valdes or Bob Baker.

I'm not a fan of negative Young, but he wins this one. Lastarza was somewhat protected, imo.

:hand ***** could be apple prime, persimmon prime, lemon prime, pear prime, he was still almost dead and hands of foam could barely even knock him down.

I don't understand some of the negative comments about Roland. I saw the 2nd Rock scrap (including him sparring and speed bagging prior) and I was very impressed. He and Jimmy would have been a decision one way or another for sure. I can't think of the judge's name but I used to use him in a trivia question with my buds years ago. "Why is judge **** a trivia point?" Because he is the only judge to score Rocky a loser in a fight. Sadly Rock & Roland's first scrap is NOT available to view as far as I know.
