Don Cokkell and Rollie both beat Takam. On points.

A pick for Takam is purely a pick for size only. He is a strong capable sort. For his time.

People forget what a good fighter Dan Bucheroni was. Roland dealt with him in some style in the Garden.

And Don blasted Tommy Farr who really was still capable. He also beat Kid Mathews a guy who had a great record at a greater time.

It took a better puncher than Takam to knock out Roland and Don as heavyweights. So that leaves boxing. Those two simply were better boxers. So they both win on points.

People seem to be forgetting its Bucceroni and that he was really a light heavyweight.
Also that Bucceroni beat Lastarza in their first fight

Farr was 40 years old, fighting because he was bankrupt."I was prostituting myself really." Farr had been retired for 1940 until 1950.Ten Years!
Farr would have one more fight, lose it and retire for good.
Mathews was a hyped fighter, after Marciano burst his bubble he was seen for what he was, a decent light heavyweight . Cockell's best win is over a ruined Lastarza whose career nosedived after being beat a up by Marciano . Lastarza was thoroughly washed up when C*ckell got to him , he was in the middle of a 4 fight losing streak. He would win his next 2 fights over a couple of palooka's whose records were
    4-14-0 and 5-12-1.
Lose his next fight to a 19-5-1 journeyman.
Beat another couple of palooka's who were 1-12-0 and5-12-1.
Then lost to another ham and egger 16-18-4 and retired!

Lastarza was knocked down by journeyman Rocky Jones a lhvy, knocked down 3 times and flattened for good by
    Julio Mederos.

Takam would have 50lbs on Lastarza. You said Takam against Joshua wasn't a fair fight because of the 18.5lbs weight difference!lol

Seriously awful misrepresentation of the facts by you!

If Takam gets a crack at Wilder he might still be a champ. I like Carlos.

High risk for little reward, I don't see it happening.
