A lot of people are talking about Vitali being "past it" - and you could see in the Chisora fight he did look quite slow at times.

But the fight before that, against Adamek I think, he was completely dominant and showed quick reflexes at times. He just has slow-ish feet, and although he does have good footwork he never had the foot speed that Wlad possesses for men of that size.

However, with a potential Haye fight and knowing Haye's speed would Vitali not train for a bit more speed himself? Could a 41 make any gains in speed if it was dedicated to in training? He does have good stamina anyway, better so than Haye.

Chisora is a lot tougher than Haye in terms of chin and if Vitali was to land flush even once or twice in a round, Haye would panic. Despite a dominant victory against Chisora, you saw when Chisora landed that big left at the end of the 3rd he look wobbled and was out of breath in the corner.

If Vitali was fitter than ever and in best shape in terms of reflexes, with his jab and chopping right would he be able to roll back the years and stop a fast, hard-hitting Haye?

I think Vitali wins, Haye is scared of Vitali. I know there will be a backlash from fellow posters but think back to Haye vs Wlad, Haye talked big but when it came to fight night he was like a chicken.

Only one way for Haye to win against Vitali. Go for broke and trade with Vitali. Only problem with that is I don't think Haye has the STAMINA or the COURAGE to do it! If he does try Haye will take some bombs while trying to give some. Vitali beats Haye even at 41!

He looked slow because he is slow. And he didn't look great againsr Chisora because Chisora has a good chin and is pretty strong.

Against Adamek people were saying Vitali is as good now as he has ever been, he's gotten better with age, he's unstoppable etc

Don't flip flop on opinions from one fight to the next

An easy opponent made him look good, a tougher opponent made him look not as good.

If he fought Adamek again next month he'd look like superman again, throwing out jaw-breaking jabs and skull-crushing right hands.
