September twelfth at Polideportivo Alexis Argüello. This will be González's second bout in a row at the venue in his home city of Managua - last competing there a year ago in his TKO10 victory over Rober Barrera. It will be Robles' first time competing outside Mexico.

It's unclear whether this will be González's farewell to his fans with a nigh guaranteed win, or setting up one last run for a title or big payday. If the former, it would seem that defeating Barrera served that purpose already so taking an even lighter touch fourteen months later feels redundant. If the latter, it's still weird that he waited so long to shake off rust if he's going to make something happen at 38.

Being contested at 116lbs catch-weight, one pound above the super fly limit. González last fought at bantam while Robles is coming up from flyweight.

Roman, for the longest time has expressed his desire for a title match in his final fight. With Rodriguez being tied with Cafu and Martinez, while Nakatani is poised to move up. I think Roman's chances are pretty decent: Perez the IBF champion is unspectacular and the rest of the champs at bantamweight are very much beatable. Going for a fifth division title, regardless of the result, is a good way to close the curtain for Gonzalez.
