Your card is just as bad as the judge who is being crapped on. And i'm not knocking it because the majority of the rounds could really have gone either way. I remember somewhere around 8 or 9th round thinking that this fight would be a nightmare to score.

That may be so. I do score the fights I watch, but I never said I do it well haha. For me the straight right was winning rounds, and the fight.

 

Gonzalez got hit too many times that he forgot that close fights are not robbiers...

 

117-111 Roman is a bad card too man. I think 115-113 either way, or a draw were the only realistic scorecards. Theres no way either fighter won 9 rounds.

Is it me or has there been cards are split close 115-113 for each fighter and the other judge has it way one sided? If my memory serves me right this is about the 3rd or 4th time in the last year or so this has happened.

 

I am fine with that, and maybe I am a bad judge. I will say however, that more often than not my card aligns well with public perception and well accepted scores. I have zero money or a dog in this fight, and no fanhood or allegiance on either side.

I just simply liked Roman's work a whole lot more. The straight right landing over and over again was the story of the fight for me. It was hotly contested though, and Estrada was very much in the fight.
