Romain Jacob vs. Ermano Fegatilli RBR

Round 1

Fegatilli is circling and throwing high single jabs from the chest and big sweeping left hooks at mid-range in alternation. Jacob is controlling distance with his lighter but sharper and busier jab. Fegatilli is caught several times on the lateral step by a combination down the pipe from the longer champion. Fegatilli wings in a few body shots weaving in. Jacob puts him in a headlock and pushes down.

Me too, and I don't like where this is going. :!:

(I actually am a fan of young Jacob, too, I just love me a good Cinderella man comeback - and any instance of triangle theory getting all unraveled, which this would be if Fegatilli sprang the upset :yep)

 

I'd like to walk up to her and say "this one goes to eleven :hey".

...but in French.

Without sounding like an obnoxious American tourist with a lousy accent.

 

Actually, Ermano isn't as old as I thought - only got 4 years on Romain.

Their mutual rival Boschiero is the one that's getting up there. (he turns 34 in a couple of months)

 

Round 2

Fegatilli is grinding his way in, forming an upward pointing arrow with his fists, elbows splayed out to either side, pushing his way in against Jacob and winging right hands looped around the guard but still caught on the raised left bicep or forearm of Jacob. Sharp jabs by Jacob on the inside, prodding Fegatilli away. Fegatilli times an overhand right onto the bridge of Jacob's nose as he is backing away in a straight line and pawing a jab. Jacob blinks and jogs back to reset his rhythm.
